The Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell was introduced to provide the faculty, staff, and students a safe and pleasant environment.
1. Handle cases of discrimination and sexual harassment against women in a timely way with the goal of providing assistance to the victim and putting an end to the harassment.

2. Recommend the proper remedial action be taken against the offender. The Supreme Court's guidelines describe sexual harassment as "unwelcome" sexually motivated behavior (whether directly or by implication). It might consist of
• Physical contact and advances
• The demand or request for sexual favors
• Remarks with sexual overtones
• The showing of pornography and any unwanted physical, verbal, or nonverbal behavior of a sexual character. (Supreme Court decision regarding Vishaka)
