Scholarship is given in addition to SC/ ST Scholarships, Minority Scholarship, and Single Girl Child Scholarships, all with the goal of helping the underprivileged and marginalized members of society. The St. Aloysius Degree College Welfare Committee chooses the first-year degree candidates with outstanding academic records who have earned a first class in the pre-university exams as being qualified to apply for the Merit Scholarships. Students from economically disadvantaged sections are given special financial aid if they have a strong academic record. Scholarships are available at several levels for students who excel in athletics, extracurricular activities, and co-curricular activities.
